Whoooooooo Are You? Who-Who... Who-Who

(Please excuse the singing in the title. I just couldn't help myself!)

According to Reader, this blog has at least 35 subscribers and is no longer in the "Most Obscure" category. (I am happy to leave that not-so-flattering category!) So, if you "follow" this blog, show your face! I'm interested to check out your blogs, as well. That is the easiest way to get inspiration, isn't it? I find it interesting how many lovely ladies have such amazing taste and ideas! I've already been pointed in the direction of some great sales and have tried to help others find screaming deals, too. So... Leave a comment on this post, and I will certainly check you out.

If any of you saw the post last night from Newlywedisms by Bryn, then I might have been bidding against you on those hot suede heels. I'm bummed to say I didn't win this time. If you do find something I might like, don't be ashamed to shoot it my way!

Wedding Wednesday

I stumbled upon a source that I never would have expected for bridesmaid attire: Overstock.com! They have dresses that would be great for mothers and guests as well.

I would wear these dresses to a shower or party any day.
Have you tried alternative sites for your bridesmaid dresses?

Do You Wear a Size 7 Shoe?

If so, you must check out this eBay listing. I so wish I was a 7. I am in love.
Listing ends tomorrow at about 4pm PST. Please tell me if you buy these, so I can live vicariously through you.

Can You Tell I'm Obsessed...

...with offices? I . can . not . stop . posting . pics. These were found via Porchlight Interiors.
I want to redo mine now... immediately.

Just Can't Get Enough...

**Like what you're seeing? I've moved! You can now find me here.**

Ok, so I'll be honest-- I'm avoiding wedding planning. I just can't get enough home inspiration right now. It might be because we've slashed our wedding budget (bummer) in order to keep a nest egg for a new house (yay). Here are a few drool-worthy pics that might make you want to do chores like laundry and paying bills... or, if you can imagine... cook! (images via A Life's Design)

Is anyone else loving the interior color of those cabinets? I seriously want to redo my kitchen now. I am finding myself drawn to white cabinets more and more (and we actually have them). I've found that some people don't love the trend. What's your take?

I'm So Excited... I Just Can't Hide It...

I'm breaking from the regularly scheduled Weight Watchers Wednesday post to tell you that I lost another 2 ell-bees this week... for a total of 13.6 since July 21st! I have officially hit my 10% goal that was set by WW my first night. Ten freaking percent! I hate to toot my own horn, but...... I just can't help it! I'm too excited. Okay... back to regularly scheduled posts.

House Inspiration... Again

I am stuck in house mode... maybe because I'm trying to avoid wedding decisions right now. This amazing kitchen was found via Haven.

I love the warmth the wall-hanging brings to this office space found via Style Files.

This laundry room has been in my file for ages (from Domino Mag). We painted ours Passive (gray) from Sherwin Williams because every other room in the house seemed to be blue. I love the damask ironing board cover and may just order one.

It's amazing how a wonderfully decorated room can make you actually want to do laundry. Do you have a room that needs a little sprucing? Are you planning on making the change soon? Spill the beans!

M.I.A

I apologize for being a bit MIA this weekend. I was still in need of that break that I mentioned on Wednesday. I've been in a bit of a funk and didn't want to pass it on to you guys.

I felt like I've been letting some things go here and there, so I spent the weekend getting a few things in order. After cleaning out the storage unit at the end of October, we dumped everything in one of the spare rooms and left it. The mess finally got to me, even though it was behind closed doors. I spent an entire day cleaning out closets to make room for everything that we were going to keep, organizing what could go to charity, and trashing what didn't go in the other categories. It's amazing what you will store in a closet! We had saved boxes and packing materials thinking we were going to move. Those were the first to go. I can't believe what a waste of space that was! I was amazed to see that I had 4 boxes labeled "crafts". I am definitely going to list tons of stamps, paper and embellishments for scrapbooking on eBay soon! We still have a long way to go to get everything organized, but it was a great step in the right direction.

I got a bit sidetracked with MyDeco File from Domino mag. I think I spent three hours just looking through other people's files and adding pics. What a fun way to organize your inspiration files! I am definitely hooked. J was even saying he thought it was a neat idea, which doesn't happen often. If you haven't tried it yet, make sure you do so when you have plenty of time!

On Saturday, we went to our cake tasting. J made the mistake of eating the entire piece each time. I knew better! We were actually headed straight to the gym afterward, and he felt miserable after about 30 minutes. I'll post more about cakes later.

Enough blabbing! Stay tuned later in the day for more inspiration...
