Bridesmaid Gift Idea

I logged into Gilt Groupe today to see the latest deals. Of course, I just couldn't keep my hands off of the Melissa Joy Manning jewelry.

These may just have to be a gift for myself, instead of the girls! Kidding...

Aren't familiar with Gilt Groupe? Leave your email in the comments, and I'll get you signed up for the AMAZING deals!

I'm in Love...

...with this amazing bag. Are you kidding me? Ice blue leather? Mint leaf embroidery? It's almost like it was made specifically for me. Do you even have to guess where it's from? I think not.

Put away the credit card and step away from the computer. Oh, wait! Don't I have a gift card to use?

Postage Trend

I'm not sure if you've noticed the trend in wedding postage...

Well, I bit. After asking J what he thought and getting the go-ahead, I took LHE's advice and went nuts on eBay. If you want to go this route, be prepared to pay a little (ahem...) extra dough. I love the effect, though. I picked CO, love and floral themed stamps because of our ceremony location. I'll worry about how to orient them later. With save-the-dates, invites, and thank yous, we'll definitely use all of it! Here are a few I picked up:

And my favorite...

Make Mine A Mojito's 100th Post Giveaway

Have you stopped by to check out Make Mine a Mojito's 100th post giveaway yet? If not, you better run right over! Stella & Dot has given her 5 giveaway wishing threads. Run over now! I'm sure you'll be able to guess which item is my favorite.

Nina & Her Giveaway Gear

Nina is so cute. She was lovely enough to send me this pic of her modeling the giveaway gear I sent her.

She is just too adorable, although those gloves look huge! Oops. Oh, and if you're one of the lucky few getting some goods too, don't worry... it's in the mail!

Weight Watchers Wednesdays: Soups

Unfortunately, I gained this week! I was told that I probably added so much exercise in this week and not enough food that my body started holding onto fat. Lovely! I guess I need to eat more if I'm going to kill myself at aerobics again this Saturday... and maybe lay off the candy corn!

I promised recipes, so here is your recipe for the week. Stay tuned for another one next week!
Weight Watchers One Point Chili
10 oz. 97/3% lean ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 onion, diced
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 (28 oz) cans petite diced tomatoes
2 med zucchini
2 med yellow squash
1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained
2 (15 oz) can beef broth
4 celery stalks
2 green peppers
1 packet chili seasoning

Brown ground meat and onions. Place in large pot and add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Serves 20. 1 point per serving (per Flex Plan)

I Thought I Said I Wasn't Ready...

I guess Mother Nature was having nothing of it. This is what I drove home to last night.

And these pics were taken at 6:15 this morning...

Dang it.

Wedding Wednesday: Hair

I was somewhat stumped on what to write about for Wedding Wednesday. As luck should have it, I stumbled across a post last night from Polka Dot Bride and knew I had to re-post! Photo credit to SugarLove Pictures

How freakin' amazing is her hair? I think I've found my inspiration!

What do you think? I am in love.

Testing 4:22 MST

I am running into issues with Reader again, so I apologize for the testing post.

Newest Addition to the Collection

As I was browsing eBay for boots to show you, I stumbled upon a pair that I thought were pretty darn nice... and bought them! I give you the newest addition...
Love them!! And, they were a steal for less than $25 after shipping. Can you believe it?
