Style Me Pretty is My Fave

You might remember that I won our wedding invitations from a Style Me Pretty giveaway eons ago. While I won't go into details about how the invitation process went, I will say that Abby and Michelle at Style Me Pretty were absolute dolls to work with! During the process, I realized a few lessons about giveaway winnings:

-Follow up with the giveaway host to let them know how the process has gone, whether it's an email to let them know you received the item and love it or that you've had issues. If you don't follow up, then they may never know if a vendor they trust is living up to the standards they expect and require. Your follow up may help future giveaway winners get the best customer service available to them.
-Follow up early on if you have problems, as they may be able to turn the issue around quicker than you can.
-Expect the same level of customer service that you would receive if you were a paying customer. Vendors give away their products or services in order to promote themselves, so they should give you the best service possible.
-Thank them for the opportunity! Blogs and websites host giveaways because they want to give you something that you may not be able to attain on your own. Let them know you appreciate what they've done, so they will continue to offer such great opportunities to others.
